4 MULTIMEDIA WORKS BY 4 ARTISTS, CURATED BY SABINE SABA
From The Margins, I Game is Kan Ya Makan’s first series of commissioned multimedia works, produced in collaboration with guest curator Sabine Saba. It includes contributions by four artists who were invited to reflect on notions of in/visibility and un/detectability as a queer survival tactic/game. Like a strategic game in which the desired end goal is to allow for a habitable world and make life possible in extreme uncertainties, geographic locations are reconfigured, shuffled, camouflaged, and sometimes erased.
The works were released on Monday 10/01 and can be viewed on Kan Ya Makan’s instagram page and on the online map.
